What you need

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 cup salt
  • 1 cup water
  • Paint for tomorrow

How to run it

  1. Mix and knead the dough.
  2. Model, then bake low and slow for a couple of hours.
  3. Cool overnight and paint the next day.

Making it work for every age

Younger children: Squashing and rolling the dough is plenty — nothing needs to become anything.

Older children: Ask for a set: matching decorations, name tags or a chess piece.

Keep it safe

Dough is not edible — salt content is high.
