  • A timer

How to run it

  1. Count out an identical pile of bricks each.
  2. Announce the brief: a bridge, a home, a vehicle.
  3. Fifteen minutes, then everyone explains their build.

Making it work for every age

Younger children: Duplo and a free build alongside — no brief, no timer.

Older children: Add a mechanism requirement: it must have a moving part.

Keep it safe

Keep small bricks away from under-3s.
