  • Clean recycling
  • Tape
  • Glue
  • Scissors

How to run it

  1. Tip the clean recycling onto a sheet.
  2. Announce the brief — a vehicle, a creature, a machine.
  3. Thirty minutes, then everyone presents their build.

Making it work for every age

Younger children: Give them tape and let them stick things together freely — the process is the point.

Older children: Add a constraint: it must stand up on its own, or hold a full mug.
