  • Calm
  • Free
  • Ages 6–14

What you need

  • Paper
  • Pens
  • A phone camera

How to run it

  1. Assign roles: editor, reporter, illustrator, weather.
  2. Everyone files one piece.
  3. Stick it together and photocopy it for grandparents.

Making it work for every age

Younger children: They're the illustrator — one drawing per page, and they get interviewed.

Older children: They're the editor: assign the pages, set a deadline and lay it out.
